Bringing a little bit of the countryside to London...

From Monday the 16th of January we will be launching our baby and toddler play area.

With soft foam matting and a selection of toys, your little one can have fun learning, exploring and enjoying the company of other children while you enjoy a snack or coffee. The play area will usually be situated in the conservatory giving parents a view of the older kids play area in the garden.

The play area will be set up Monday to Friday from midday and throughout the afternoon.

Don't forget, kids eat free. You'll get a free kids meal with each adult main course purchased.

We know that times are hard at the moment and a meal out with the whole family can be expensive. As a family pub we want big and little customers to have a great time. So, Kids eat free.

Of course the are terms and conditions. The offer is valid from Monday to Friday and you get one kids main course for every adult main course purchased. But every little bit helps, right?

Over the years we've become well known as a family pub and a great venue to hold your function. And we're very proud of these achievements having worked hard to offer our customers that little bit more than the average London pub.

Something we don't often mention is our fabulous restaurant. After all, The Herne is the sister pub of the critically acclaimed The Palmerston, and with the same creative pool our restaurant offers a wonderful environment for a laid back or romantic dinner of an evening or a vibrant and bustling Sunday lunch.

You can enjoy table service and an extensive wine list, take your time and enjoy wonderful food and drink in an intimate dining space.
